Cleansing and Toning.

• Cleansing the skin is an important step before applying makeup as it allows for clean skin and a blank canvas to apply makeup to.
• Clean hands, hair tied up, shoulder wrap to protect models clothes, such roll on surfaces and clips to take the hair off the model's face.
• Make sure to ask model if they have any allergies or if they are wearing contact lenses. 
• Make sure to use hypo allergenic products.
• Apply cleanser in upward motions, to avoid wrinkles, with cotton wool pads and cue tips near the eyes to make sure all makeup residue is removed from the skin.
• Make sure models eyes are closed when applying cleanser and toner to avoid damage to eyes. 
• Apply toner in the same way. 
• Add a pea sized amount of moisturiser to the face pulling upwards.
